This Public Service Announcement is brought to you in the run-up to the meeting in Seattle from November 30th to December 3rd of the most powerful yet unknown organisation in the world: The World Trade Organisation (WTO).

Many of the faces featured here are deeply involved in the WTO and its determined desire to mop up what’s left of the world’s human and other resources.

The WTO is the engine room of global capitalism. It is the reason why Caribbean banana growers are being forced out of business, why Europe may have to accept beef treated with growth hormones and why laws designed to protect working people and the environment may soon be trampled by a handful of trans-national companies.

The Seattle meeting is where the multinationals plan to set the agenda for the next decade, putting profit before people and planet.
